Description:
A Civil Rights Law Firm, a small, boutique law firm in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans is seeking an associate with at least 1 year of litigation experience. The firm concentrates on civil rights, prisoner rights, personal injury, and disability rights. The candidate does not need experience in those specific areas. The candidate must be licensed in Louisiana (if licensed in another state that is a plus). The associate would be tasked with case management, client communication, drafting various Motions, all aspects of discovery, and investigation of claims.Compensation is in the form of a salary based on experience, a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and IRA match.
The day-to-day work environment is casual and office dogs are welcome. Plenty of on-street parking available. All inquiries are held in strict confidence. A cover letter and writing sample are optional.
