Description:
Reporting to Director and Chief Offsets Counsel. Provide a broad
spectrum of legal support to Lockheed Martin Corporation's offset
professionals, support offset transactions and manage risk to enable the
enterprise to achieve its international strategic objectives. Advise
executive management (e.g., Corporate Business Development &
Strategy and Business Area Leadership) on legal issues involved in doing
business internationally, including offsets and industrial
participation. Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school or a foreign equivalent is required as well as being admitted to practice law by and a member in good standing of one or more state bars.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in international transactions law.
- Experience negotiating offsets and industrial participation-related transactions
- Familiarity with US government contract and trade law and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (and DOD supplement), specifically those affecting sales of defense articles internationally.
- Ability to easily interface with and influence senior corporate and customer executives and to work with business area program counsel in a collaborative, team environment
Desired Skills:
- Experience negotiating offsets and industrial participation-related transactions with governments and industry in regions such as Europe, the Middle East, the Americas and/or Asia Pacific.
- Business acumen, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, reliability and sound judgment
- Excellent writing and oral communications skills; ability to distill and articulate complex legal issues into succinct, cohesive summaries
- Ability to form strong relationships with program leaders across the enterprise

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time
Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part
of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a
designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will
be discussed during the hiring process.
Work
Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work
schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while
others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees
with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our
Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay
Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California,
Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas),
Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont,
Washington or Washington DC is $184,100 - $324,530. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the
candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information
is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as
(but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position,
candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as
market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay

metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is
$211,700 - $366,850. For states not referenced above, the salary range
for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
