Summary of Job Duties:
The University of Arkansas School of Law is pleased to announce that it is currently seeking applicants for a 9-month, 100% appointed, tenure/tenure track assistant, associate or full professor (based on qualifications) starting in the 2026-2027 academic year with teaching duties divided between its signature LL.M. Program in Agricultural and Food Law and the JD Program. For the JD courses, there is a strong interest in experiential learning courses, such as interviewing, counseling, negotiation, and mediation. A successful applicant must be willing to teach in person.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with demonstrated expertise in agricultural and/or food law
  • Distinguished academic record
  • Demonstrated scholarly promise

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Law School Teaching experience
  • At least two years of practical legal experience
