Our Organization and Mission:
The Office of Regional Counsel, Fifth Region (RC5) was created by the Legislature in 2007 pursuant to Section 27.511, Fla. Stat., to provide legal representation to indigent persons in criminal appeal cases and appellate cases. RC5 serves 4 judicial circuits and 13 counties throughout Central Florida.

Appellate Attorney - The Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, 5th District (RC5), is seeking a full-time appellate attorney in our main office located in Casselberry, Seminole County, Florida. This is primarily an appellate attorney position. Duties include reviewing records on appeal, drafting appellate briefs, responses, writs, and orders to both the trial court and the 5th and 6th DCA. The attorney will also be required to represent individuals in felony and misdemeanor cases. Must be a member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
