Imagine360 is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join the team! The Assistant General Counsel is responsible for assisting the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel implement corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives and providing legal support internally to various departments and externally to clients of Imagine360. The Assistant General Counsel provides legal advice and operational support on a variety of company initiatives, assists in managing the legal function, and assists in overseeing the work of outside counsel on designated projects.

Position Location: 100% remote

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Participates in the definition, development and implementation of corporate policies, procedures and programs and provides continuing counsel and guidance on legal matters and on legal implications of all matters.
  • Assists in researching and providing legal advice regarding group health plan-related issues and compliance matters impacting group health plans for Imagine360 departments, including but not limited to Claims, Eligibility, Stop Loss, Client Services, and Member Experience, as well as clients and brokers
  • Researching and advising the company on a broad range of regulatory and compliance matters that relate to the delivery of services by Imagine360 on behalf of its clients
  • Assists in identifying, remediating and/or mitigating potential legal problems within the organization and developing strategies to reduce potential areas of risk
  • Meeting with clients, brokers and business partners as necessary and providing business or legal advice related to company direction
  • Preparing, reviewing and negotiating company contracts, requests for proposals, other legal documents, and policies/procedures as needed
  • Review vendor, ancillary, facility and physician contracts and responds to questions from clients, brokers, and/or business partners
  • Assist in gathering discovery and other evidence as needed to support the litigation function
  • Provides general legal research on various matters for Imagine360 and affiliated companies
  • Complete other tasks as assigned

Required Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Juris Doctorate degree required
  • Must have a license to practice law in good standing (PA, TX, UT, MT, preferred)
  • A minimum of four (4) years of legal experience, preferably in regulatory/compliance, healthcare, insurance industry, governmental agency or corporate setting
  • Knowledge / familiarity with health care laws, regulations, and statutes (e.g., ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, FCRA, FDCPA, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office products.

  • Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize workloads, multi-task and manage priorities in order to meet deadlines.
