- Provide Legal Support to The Real Estate, Development, and Asset Management Teams of Sunrise Senior Living.
- Provide Advice and Counsel on A Broad Range of Legal Matters, Including Real Estate Transactions and Development Matters, Purchase and Sale Agreements, Letters of Intent, Title/survey Diligence Oversight, Financings, Senior Living Management Contracts, Joint Venture Agreements, and Other Related Contracts, Drafting and Negotiating Other Transactional and General Contracts, and Providing General Corporate Advice and Assistance.
- Support Business Policies and Practices with The Ability to Explain These Policies and Procedures Clearly to Others.
- Ensure Compliance with All Laws Relating to Applicable Work Performed.
- Advise Business and Operational Team Members and Senior Managers on All Aspects of Related Work.
- Maintain Compliance in Assigned Required Training and All Training Required by State/province or Other Regulating Authorities as Applicable to This Role to Ensure that Sunrise Standards Are Always Met.
- Perform Other Duties as Assigned.

- 6-7 Years of Experience as A Lawyer in A Law Firm, Business, or Government, Focused on Corporate, Real Estate, Development and Contract Work
- A Background in Corporate, Real Estate, and Finance Work Is Preferred
- Attorney License in Good Standing and Admission to The Bar in At Least One State
- Possess Strong Business Acumen and Integrate Legal and Business Objectives
- Ability to Exercise Sound Legal and Business Judgement and Ability to Influence at Varying Levels of The Organization
- Experience with Senior Living And/or the Hospitality Industries Preferred
