Serve as the leader on antitrust and white-collar criminal matters for Honeywell Automation, Honeywell's stand-alone business that will remain after the execution of its spin of the Aerospace segment to the public markets. You will be a member of the larger Regulatory and Compliance department, working with peers in all areas of law. This position has no direct reports.

This role will report to the GC for Regulatory and Compliance. The role will work with senior legal and compliance leadership and interact closely with business leaders and other functional professionals including, M&A, Strategy, Finance, HR and Audit.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities include:
Antitrust
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel on all aspects of antitrust and competition law confronted by a multi-industry global company
  • Conduct antitrust risk assessments and gap analysis, and lead multi-functional teams in carrying out action plan
  • Implementation of annual antitrust compliance program including training to different functions and legal teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, in particular the M&A Legal, Corporate Strategy teams, to advise regarding antitrust and competition law compliance
  • Support the M&A Legal team in evaluating ventures, making required filings, and onboarding of acquired assets
  • Conduct investigations into possible violation of antitrust and anticorruption law
  • Respond to and interact with government officials on matters related to antitrust and competition law

White Collar

  • Serve as the internal expert on the process to manage white-collar matters within Automation, including developing legal defenses, engaging with governmental agencies and partnering with the Litigation and Investigations teams to respond to inquiries such as subpoenas, civil investigative demands, regulatory requests from agencies such as the US Department of Justice, the SEC, Treasury and OFAC and international regulators such as the European Commission.
  • Manage and coordinate with external counsel on high‑risk criminal and regulatory enforcement matters in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Develop and execute strategic defense approaches for criminal enforcement matters impacting the company or its employees.
  • Oversee factual development, document preservation and production, interviews, and preparation of written submissions to authorities.
  • Advise senior leadership on potential exposure, collateral consequences, settlement options, and litigation risk.

Qualifications:
You must have:
  • Law Degree and admitted to practice law in a jurisdiction in the United States
  • 8-14 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex issues quickly and communicate clearly and succinctly
  • First chair experience resolving antitrust and white collar matters with the government

We value:
  • Prior government experience (e.g., DOJ, FTC, SEC, SFO, EU, or state antitrust regulators)
  • Prior In-house experience
  • Experience with antitrust and anticorruption laws outside of the U.S
  • Investigation, litigation, or other regulatory compliance area experience (e.g., in sanctions, AML, import/export, or government contracts)

The annual base salary range for this position is < $255K - $325K >. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. This position is incentive plan eligible.
