Description:

The Appeals Bureau handles all post-conviction litigation for the A Government Entity. In this busy New York City office, Appeals prosecutors draft briefs and participate in oral argument before state appellate courts, respond to post-conviction motions to vacate judgment and set aside sentence, and answer writs of habeas corpus in the federal courts.

Qualifications:
A candidate must have superior analytical, research, and writing skills. The candidate must have prior experience as an appellate attorney or equivalent work experience.

The candidate must be a graduate from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctor degree and be admitted to the New York Bar (or have the ability to obtain admission promptly).
