Under the general direction of the Deputy Secretary, General Counsel the position serves as the Assistant Deputy General Counsel for the Cal ICH provides comprehensive legal advice to the California Interagency Council on Homelessness relevant to statutory responsibilities, including advice and guidance for all Council administered grant programs, data collection and privacy, and compliance with the Bagley-Keene Open Meetings Act and Public Records Act.
This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment. Failure to comply with the Conflict of Interest Code requirements may void the appointment.
This position may be downgraded to Attorney for recruitment purposes. If downgraded, duties will be adjusted accordingly.
