Nature of Work/Examples of Work Performed:
Primary responsibilities could include but are not limited to: protecting the City's interest in civil litigation cases in State and Federal court as well as before administrative tribunals in the areas of civil rights, eminent domain, appeals, tort, worker's compensation, and collections; drafting City policies, regulations, and legislation; negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts and agreements; employment and labor law; and advising elected officials, City departments, boards, and commissions.

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited College of Law

Necessary Special Requirement: Membership in the State of Nebraska Bar Association with eligibility to practice law in the State of Nebraska.
