The Reporting Location for This Position Is Headquarters Located at 715 P Street, Sacramento, Ca.
Under the General Direction of The Chief Counsel, Department of Parks and Recreation, the Assistant Chief Counsel Serves as A Senior Legal Manager Responsible for Planning, Organizing, Directing, and Evaluating the Work of Attorneys and Legal Support Staff Within the Legal Division. the Incumbent Provides Legal Advice and Counsel to Executive Leadership, Managers, and Program Staff; Oversees Complex and Sensitive Legal Matters Affecting Department Operations; Manages Assigned Legal Programs and Workloads; and Ensures the Consistent Delivery of High-Quality Legal Services in Support of The Department's Mission to Protect and Preserve California's Natural and Cultural Resources and Provide Recreational Opportunities for The Public.
This Position Requires a California State Bar License.
This Position Is Designated as Telework Eligible-Office Centered.
