A Government Entity is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Attorney General for our Utility Regulation Unit.

Job Summary: The Office of Attorney General's Utility Regulation Unit represents and protects the interests of the state's utility customers in administrative and civil proceedings affecting utility rates, charges, and terms and conditions of service. The Assistant Attorney General will advocate for utility customers through all phases of proceedings before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, including discovery, the preparation of filings, settlement negotiation, and trial. Each Assistant Attorney General will have opportunities to research, evaluate, and present complex financial and legal information at trial and through briefing, including collaborating with non-attorney experts. Some travel is required.

Qualifications: Applicants must be licensed attorneys, with at least four (4) years of experience in the practice of law. A prior background in administrative law, energy, accounting, and/or finance is helpful but not necessary. Preference may be given to applicants with experience in employment law.
