Assistant Attorney General / Arts & Education Division / Office of Miner's Health, Safety, and Training: The Office of the West Virginia Attorney General is seeking a full-time attorney to join its Arts & Education Division to represent the Office of Miner's Health, Safety, and Training (“OMHST”). Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five (5) years of litigation experience. This position is responsible for litigation primarily in administrative forums and state circuit courts, as well as appellate work before the West Virginia Intermediate Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia. Responsibilities include both litigation representation and providing general counsel and advice to OMHST. The position is based in Charleston, West Virginia.

Strong written and oral advocacy skills are required. Experience representing government agencies or with coal mining regulations is preferred but not required.

Candidates must have an active West Virginia law license.
