Position Overview:
The Department of Social and Cultural Sciences is hiring adjunct instructors to teach criminology courses during the Fall 2025 semester (8/25/25 to 12/16/25). The classes are scheduled to be taught in person on the following days/times:
  • CRLS 2400. Carceral Systems, MW 1-1:50pm (+ online component)
  • CRLS 3680. Family Violence and Public Intervention, MWF 10-10:50am

Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate(s) will have full responsibility for the courses and sections they teach, including course and syllabus preparation, grading exams and other assignments. Must maintain a minimum of 3 office hours a week.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Master's degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or related field.

Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
