Position Summary:
The Sturm College of Law is accepting applications for adjunct faculty for the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters of the 2025-2026 academic year. Adjunct faculty positions are non-benefited positions. Adjunct faculty are required to teach as scheduled, hold office hours, assign papers and exams as appropriate and be available to assist students with assignments. Adjunct faculty are required to comply with all Law School and University policies and protocols. The Sturm College of Law operates on a semester system.

Required Qualifications:
  • Law degree
  • Ability to teach at the university level

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous law school teaching experience
  • College-level teaching experience

Work Schedule:
While the University's administrative offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas. Application Deadline:

Course Rate
The compensation for this position will be between $3,535 and $8,838, depending on the number of credits for the class taught.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.
