Foley & Lardner LLP is accepting applications from first-year law students (Class of 2029) interested in joining the firm's 2028 Summer Associate Program in the Intellectual Property Department, supporting our Technology Transactions, Cybersecurity, and Privacy Practice Group. 2L Summer Associate positions are available in the following offices: Chicago, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, San Diego, or Tampa.Educational, legal work, or non-legal work experience demonstrating an interest or capabilities in the areas of technology, licensing, cybersecurity, privacy or professional services delivery or management is strongly preferred. The firm anticipates hosting a 10-week program for summer 2028. To be considered, a candidate must have excellent academic credentials and attend an ABA-accredited law school. Foley & Lardner LLP offers a competitive compensation structure applicable to all positions. The salary for this position is $225,000/year, pro-rated based on the duration of employment. This role is temporary and only eligible for paid holidays, access to our Employee Assistance Program, and any benefits required by applicable federal, state, or local law.
