The Houston office of Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP is currently accepting applications from 1L law students who are interested in joining us as a 2L summer associate for our 2027 Summer Program. Candidates who previously applied for a 1L summer associate position in our 2026 Summer Program for the Houston office will automatically be considered for a 2L summer associate position in our 2027 Summer Program; therefore, candidates do not need to submit a second application.Shook is interested in adding talent to their various litigation practice groups. We are seeking candidates who are passionate, collaborative, and have demonstrated leadership abilities. Summer associates will join a collegial work environment where you will learn about our clients, practices, lawyers, and culture.
