As a Summer Associate, you will engage in many aspects of associate life, including challenging legal assignments, professional development and training programs, and regular interaction with associates, partners, and firm leadership. Our program is designed to provide hands-on experience, substantive feedback, and a strong sense of community.

Summer Associates at Williams Mullen can expect to:
Work closely with supervising attorneys on a wide range of substantive matters, with ongoing feedback and mentorship

Be paired with associate and partner mentors aligned with your personal and professional interests

Participate in volunteer and pro bono initiatives that make a meaningful impact in our local communities

The Virginia Beach-based 2027 2L Summer Associate will work with the firm's Corporate Section. The weekly salary for this role will be $3,200.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Second-year law student (class of 2028), in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school in the U.S.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Excellent undergraduate and law school academic performance
• Demonstrated interest in corporate matters
• Able to join the 2027 Williams Mullen Summer Program in our Virginia Beach, VA office
• Strong interest in working at the firm in the Virginia Beach, VA office as an associate after graduation
