We are currently accepting Pathways Scholarship applications from law students interested in joining Winston & Strawn during their 2L summer for our 2027 Summer Associate Program.To apply for the scholarship, submit the application form along with your resume, law school transcript and/or grades when available, and a personal statement (500 words or less) answering both of the following two prompts:
- Describe any leadership, advocacy, or service that reflects a commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful environment in your college, law school, or broader community.
- Discuss any unique skills, perspectives, or insights that you believe you will bring to the legal profession due to your background and/or experiences.
To be considered for the scholarship, you must separately apply for a 2L position in our 2027 Summer Associate Program or for a joint 1L (2026) & 2L (2027) Summer Associate position. You may apply to only one Winston office and for only one department. Multiple applications will not be considered.

Selected applicants who (1) successfully complete the 2L Summer Program, and (2) receive and accept an offer to join Winston & Strawn as an associate, will receive a $50,000 scholarship (less applicable withholdings and taxes). Additionally, the summer associate salary will be based on a pro-rata calculation of entry-level associate compensation, which is currently $225,000.
