Steptoe LLP seeks a 2L Summer Associate who is interested in joining the Firm's Investigation and White Collar (IWC) practice group in our Washington DC office for the 2027 Summer Associate Program. The IWC Practice Group engages in high-profile criminal litigation and investigations and represents both individuals and entities. Our attorneys guided many corporate and individual clients to favorable resolutions before a criminal indictment and effectively mitigate the risks of criminal, financial, and reputational exposure.About the Program
Steptoe's 10-week Summer Associate Program is one of the most important elements of the firm's recruitment effort. The summer program offers a well-rounded overview of the firm's practices and exposing summer associates to substantive legal work; aimed to provide a realistic view being an associate at Steptoe from day one. During the summer, the Summer Associate will participate in trainings, work day to day with highly recognized attorneys and build relationships that will be essential to their career.

Compensation for this position is based upon an annualized salary of $225,000.
