Steptoe LLP seeks a 2L Summer Associate with an interest in joining the Firm's Litigation practice group in our New York or Washington, DC office for the 2027 Summer Associate Program. Steptoe litigators handle complex commercial disputes, consumer class actions, government enforcement litigation, and cross-border international disputes. We represent clients in courts, arbitrations, and regulatory forums worldwide, guiding them from investigation through trial and appeal to final resolution.About the Program
Steptoe's 10-week Summer Associate Program is one of the most important elements of the firm's recruitment effort. The summer program offers a well-rounded overview of the firm's practices and exposing summer associates to substantive legal work; aimed to provide a realistic view being an associate at Steptoe from day one. During the summer, the Summer Associate will participate in trainings, work day to day with highly recognized attorneys and build relationships that will be essential to their career.

Compensation for this position is based upon an annualized salary of $225,000.
