The Virginia Office of the Attorney General (OAG) ) is now accepting applications to its 2026 Honors Program. Our prestigious Honors Fellow program offers an unparalleled opportunity for third-year law students and recent graduates to make a real difference in the Commonwealth. As an Honors Fellow, you'll begin your career immediately after taking the Virginia State Bar exam, contributing to significant legal matters that affect our state. Upon passing the bar, you'll be automatically promoted to Assistant Attorney General with a salary increase, providing a clear path to advancement in your legal career.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be eligible for the Honors Fellowship, applicants must:

Additional Considerations:
Successful applicants are initially hired as Honors Fellows, earning a competitive salary of $65,000. Upon admission to the Virginia State Bar, Honors Fellows are promoted to the level of Assistant Attorney General, with a corresponding increase in salary.
