Lathrop GPM is seeking applications from qualified second year students to be considered for our 2026 Summer Associate Program in the Denver office.We are looking for a candidate with a strong interest in Oil & Gas law who demonstrates excellence in their background and who would bring unique life experiences and perspectives to the firm. The ideal candidate will have a desire to remain in Denver long term and show enthusiasm for developing an Oil & Gas law practice after graduation. A strong academic record, superior work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team setting is preferred. Candidates must be enrolled and in good standing as a second-year law student at an ABA accredited law school.
Program Details:
Our salaried 10-week clerkship program offers hands-on experience with client projects and observational opportunities. While work assignments may come from any of our practice groups, most will focus on Oil & Gas matters. The work typically involves substantive legal research, analysis, and writing.
The 2026 Summer Associate Program will follow a hybrid format, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
