Gibson Dunn is pleased to offer limited 1L summer positions in our 2026 summer program. Students should apply to their first-choice Gibson Dunn office only. The firm does not allow interviews with multiple offices.1L applications for the 2026 Summer Program will be considered simultaneously as 2L applications for the 2027 Summer Program. Students do not need to submit two applications. Students who join us for their 1L summer in 2026 will be expected to also join us for their 2L summer in 2027, pending satisfactory performance.
Although we
expect to do the majority of our review and interviewing after the
release of first-semester law school grades, students may apply earlier.
We ask that students update their applications with complete
transcripts as soon as full first-semester grades are available. We do
not plan on extending offers until after students have updated their
applications with this information.
