The White & Case 1L IP Litigation Workshop is a truly unique opportunity to gain an early insight into Big Law and the skills needed for success. This two-day immersion program will be held in the Silicon Valley office*, where you will discover what it's like to practice intellectual property litigation at White & Case through panels, presentations and networking events. You will have the opportunity to:- Meet and shadow lawyers at different levels from various US offices and hear about their career paths into IP practice
- Take part in an interactive training and group sessions
- Hear highlights about our pro bono work
- Collaborate on a case study with IP lawyers
- Network with your peers during a social event
This program will allow you to discover what makes White & Case a unique and preeminent global law firm. Selection process—a successful candidate will possess:
- A proven desire to pursue a career in IP litigation at a global law firm
- A technical background or STEM degree (preferred, but not essential)
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to function as an effective and collegial team member
- Leadership abilities
Applications will be accepted from 1L law students beginning on October 1, 2025. Spaces for this program are limited.
