For more than 13 years, the Methodist Justice Ministry (MJM) has secured nearly 1,800 court orders to protect more than 2,000 individuals desperate for help. MJM primarily serves families in Tarrant County, but in 2017 expanded to serve Johnson County and in 2019 entered Parker County. With the expert assistance of licensed attorneys, MJM obtains court orders for protection, custody, denial, or restriction of visitation by abusers, along with seeking financial and medical support for the children.
