GWLS was founded in 2017, to provide access to affordable legal services for community members who may not be able to afford the services of a private attorney. GWLS is dedicated to seeking justice through low-cost legal resources, free monthly legal advice clinics, and legal empowerment workshops. ? We are committed to dismantling legal barriers in a manner that empowers our clients. We pursue justice through holistic care, advocacy, and an understanding that our clients are more than their presenting legal issue. By collaborating with our community and the services within it, we are creating lasting solutions to systemic problems.
