For over 50 years, Build Up Justice NYC (formerly Brooklyn Legal Services Corporation A) has provided high-quality legal services (full legal representation, brief advice, and education) to low-to-moderate income individuals, families, not-for-profit community-based organizations (CBOs), community development corporations (CDCs), small businesses, and coalitions seeking to sustain and develop vibrant, healthy communities. We work to ensure that the law is a bridge—not a barrier—to stable housing, educational opportunities, jobs, and financial security for New York City residents.
