Job Summary:An American Multinational Diversified Hospitality Company Law Department supports the Company's global lodging and hospitality business and provides legal advice and counsel to Marriott's internal clients. The Vice President & Senior Legal Counsel for Consumer Services is responsible for handling a varied portfolio of novel and cutting-edge issues to support the business on new opportunities and solutions for enhancing customer engagement and experience. The Consumer Services team advises various business disciplines, provides practical legal solutions, and negotiates complex commercial agreements to help Marriott achieve its business objectives relating to Marriott's consumer-facing business, including Marriott's distribution channels, the Marriott Bonvoy travel loyalty program, gift card program, strategic partnerships, co-branded credit cards, marketing, sales, revenue management, Homes and Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, and Marriott Boutiques.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- Excellent academic records in college and law school, with a J.D. from a well-respected law school.
- Admission to U.S. Bar for any state and continue to be in good standing.
- Minimum of 12 years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate law department of national reputation, including experience in providing advice, negotiating, and drafting complex commercial agreements, with a solid understanding of the role of technology, privacy and intellectual property.
Preferred:
- Experience with consumer-facing legal matters, including affiliations and collaborations, loyalty programs, and payment solutions.
- Prove experience tackling novel and emerging issues with an entrepreneurial approach while managing risk.
- Flexibility for global business travel.
