Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced US Labor Law Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US labor law principles and be able to provide legal counsel and representation to our clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters.Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on all aspects of US labor law, including but not limited to:
- Wage and hour laws (e.g., overtime, minimum wage, FLSA)
- Discrimination and harassment (e.g., Title VII, ADA, ADEA)
- Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
- Worker's compensation
- Collective bargaining
- Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal filings.
- Represent clients in negotiations and legal proceedings (e.g., administrative hearings, court trials).
- Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on a variety of labor and employment matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Washington.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing US Labor Law.
- Strong understanding of US labor law principles and legal procedures.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
