Description:A Leading, Sector-Focused Global Law Firm has an opportunity for a Trial Support/Appellate Lawyer for our Miami, FL office.This thriving trial practice represents various corporations, insureds, insurers and individuals in complex, high-stakes disputes, claims and lawsuits primarily defending matters involving product liability, general liability, premises liability, construction, property and casualty liability and other related matters.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-trial motions and memorandum;
- Attendance at trial/legal support;
- Post-trial motions, and
- Appeals
Education and Experience Required:
- At least 3 years of trial and litigation experience;
- State and federal court experience;
- Excellent academic credentials;
- Solid work history.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills;
- Interpersonal, leadership and mentoring skills;
- Ability to handle matters of a highly sensitive nature;
- Ability to handle time sensitive matters, sometimes several simultaneously;
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
