Description:
Responsibilities:- Represent clients in court and handle all aspects of litigation
- Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support cases
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
Skills:
- Strong litigation skills with the ability to effectively argue cases in court
- Proficient in legal drafting and writing, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
