Distinguished, well known and national AV rated plaintiffs' personal injury/wrongful death/product liability firm in West Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced attorney for its Transportation Department. We pride ourselves in having a collegial and diverse work environment

Responsibilities:

Drafting complaints, motions, jury instructions, briefs etc.
Research novel and complex legal issues
Drafting and responding to discovery
Develop litigation strategy in partnership with Senior Partners
Trial preparation and practice
Arguing motions in open court
Preparing for and conducting lay and expert depositions
Working with experts on case specifics
Client contact and management

Requirements:

An attorney with 3-5 years of experience and a strong background in one or more of the following: Transportation law, general liability, products liability, and personal injury.
Experience in taking and defending depositions, attending court appearances, mediations, and drafting/opposing motions
Ability to work independently and proactively while also being able to contribute to a team with collegial approach to case preparation and management
Experience or proficiency with WestlawNext
Civil trial experience, a plus
Energetic, great attitude and pride in excellent work product
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once, follow through and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Member of the Florida Bar
