We are seeking an attorney with 5-10 years of trademark law experience to join our dynamic intellectual property practice, partnering with a diverse range of clients, including innovative startups, Fortune 500 companies, entertainment figures, professional athletes, and creative professionals.

As a senior counsel/junior partner, you will have the opportunity to contribute to comprehensive IP strategies while working flexibly from anywhere. Prior experience managing attorneys and/or paralegals is required as leadership and oversight are critical components of this role.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end trademark prosecution and portfolio management
  • Navigate complex trademark clearance and enforcement strategies
  • Handle TTAB proceedings, including oppositions and cancellations
  • Supervise a small team of paralegals and assistants
  • Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements
  • Resolve domain name disputes through UDRP and other mechanisms
  • Provide strategic copyright counsel and manage filings
  • Prepare enforcement correspondence and takedown notices
  • Guide clients through domestic and international IP protection

Required Qualifications:
  • Active law license in good standing (any U.S. state)
  • 5-10 years of focused trademark experience
  • Exceptional client communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high service standards
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Complex trademark clearance and searching
  • Managing team members
  • Office action responses
  • TTAB proceedings
  • UDRP matters and enforcement
  • Coexistence agreements and other IP agreements

Preferred Qualifications (not required)
  • Spanish or Chinese language proficiency
  • Prior experience as USPTO examiner
