A Law Firm that Deals with Comprehensive Law Services and Consulting is actively seeking a trademark transactional associate or counsel to join our growing Intellectual Property practice group. This position can be in Kansas City, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Denver, Dallas or Chicago.Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to a practice that represents clients in trademark matters and disputes on a regional, national, and international basis. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience pertaining to trademark clearance, filing strategy and prosecution, enforcement investigations and cease and desist letters regarding trademark infringement, negotiated co-existence and settlement agreements in trademark matters. Transactional experience pertaining to advertising law, intellectual property and technology licensing, copyright, or social media are a plus. The selected candidate will get to work with and learn from a team of dynamic, highly skilled, and collegial trademark practitioners who excel at associate mentorship and training.
Job Requirements: Candidates should have an active law license, a minimum of 5 years of trademark experience, and excellent academic credentials along with strong research, writing, and critical-thinking skills.
