DLA Piper is seeking a mid-level associate to work in its Intellectual Property and Technology – Technology Transactions and Strategic Sourcing Group. Recognized by the legal directories as one of the preeminent practices and with vast global reach, our technology transactions and strategic sourcing practice concentrates on complex transactions and multi-party, high-value project work which frequently spans multiple jurisdictions.

The preferred candidate would have 3-6 years of demonstrated experience with strategic sourcing (i.e., ERP implementations, inbound software licensing, SaaS, technology and procurement transactions) and outsourcing transactions (i.e., ITO, BPO, and facilities management), preferably representing customers. While support of corporate transactions and M&A experience is helpful, we are looking for candidates that have focused experience in strategic sourcing and outsourcing transactions. We seek candidates with immediately transferable skills and a strong academic background from a nationally recognized law school.

We will consider candidates interested in any DLA Piper office.

Minimum Requirements:
J.D., three (3+) years of relevant legal experience in technology transactions, software licensing, strategic sourcing, commercial and distribution agreements; admitted in jurisdiction of office location.
