Job Description:
Cooley is seeking a midlevel associate who focuses on litigation and/or regulatory enforcement investigations involving platform regulation and AI matters to join our global team in our Brussels, London, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, or Washington, DC offices. Ideal applicants will have 3-7 years of experience focusing on tech-based investigations or litigation. An interest or prior background in platform regulation (e.g., EU Digital Services Act, UK Online Safety Act, Australia Online Safety Act, EU AI Act), tech product counseling, and/or online safety issues is helpful. Successful candidates will have a high level of academic achievement, the ability to engage directly with clients and lead significant projects, general tech fluency, and impeccable analytical and writing skills.

The expected annual pay range for this position is $260,000-$420,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
