We are currently accepting applications from second-year law students for our 2025 Summer Associate Program.

As a Summer Associate at An Appeals, Bankruptcy Law Firm, you will be immersed in substantive legal work, participating in a variety of tasks across different practice areas. This program is designed to enhance your legal education by providing practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world legal scenarios. You will work closely with our experienced attorneys, gaining valuable insights into client interactions, case management, and legal strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
  • Draft memos, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions.
  • Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and case strategy sessions.
  • Collaborate with attorneys on complex transactions and litigation matters.
  • Attend and contribute to internal training sessions and workshops.
  • Assist in pro bono projects and community service initiatives.

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited law school, with completion of at least one year of law studies by the start of the summer program.
  • Strong academic performance and a demonstrated interest in [specific practice areas, if applicable].
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Program Details:
  • Duration: 10 weeks
  • Compensation: The 2025 summer associate salary will be based on a pro-rata calculation of entry-level associate compensation, which is currently $110,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
