Job Description:
Under the direction of the General Counsel, represents Pace and its employees in property damage, subrogation, and personal injury matters in various forums; and handles other duties as assigned. Travel to Cook and its collar counties is required.

Qualifications:
Education:
Must have a bachelor's degree and juris doctor degree.

Experience:
Must have a minimum of two years' previous litigation experience with a good work record, including attendance. Prior experience prosecuting and/or defending personal injury cases is preferred. Prior jury trial experience is also preferred.

Certifications/Licenses:
Must be licensed to practice law in Illinois. Must have a valid driver's license.

Essential Skills:
Must have excellent reading comprehension, research, and verbal and written communication skills. Must be a highly organized, detail oriented, and resourceful team player. Must be able to successfully and efficiently work on numerous projects simultaneously in order to meet deadlines. Must be a highly skilled negotiator who demonstrates strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality. Must have strong computer skills, including using Westlaw and be proficient using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Adobe, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions:
This position is based in an office setting, with standard office equipment.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after successful completion of a 6-month job introduction period.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, typing, driving, and attending court, depositions, and meetings.
