Senior Manager, Legal Strategy & Business PartnershipsLocation: Dunbridge, OH | Full-Time
Principle Business Enterprises is seeking a values-driven legal strategist to serve as our Senior Manager, Legal Strategy & Business Partnerships. This senior-level individual contributor will act as the company's internal legal lead—guiding our use of external counsel, helping shape key initiatives like intellectual property, government contracting, and regulatory positioning, and ensuring legal strategy is aligned with business goals.
This role blends legal acumen with strategic leadership. You'll work across the organization to structure critical negotiations, coach internal teams on disciplined, values-aligned deal-making, and help assess and mitigate risk in major investments, capital expenditures, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate is not only legally precise but also flexible—able to balance legal prudence with entrepreneurial thinking in service of both business outcomes and our long-term mission.
Key Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited institution; licensed to practice law in the U.S.
- 5–7+ years of experience in corporate strategy, IP, and contract negotiation
- Proven ability to lead complex legal and business negotiations
- Strong communicator who can translate legal frameworks into business insights
- High EQ, collaborative mindset, and a passion for mission-driven work
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and toggling between strategic oversight and hands-on support
