Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a Senior Associate or Of Counsel for the Litigation Department in its Salt Lake City office.

Candidates should have between 4-8 years of general commercial litigation experience. Experience with state as well as federal courts, trial preparation, and depositions is preferred. Candidates should have stellar academics, strong research and writing abilities. In addition, candidates should be interested in working in a fast paced and collaborative environment. Qualifications for this position are:
  • Extensive experience analyzing, researching and drafting briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues on complex litigation, ranging from state and federal court motions to dismiss, summary judgment and class certification motions, writs and appeals;
  • Successfully argued motions;
  • Taken and defended depositions;
  • Experienced in trial prep and court appearances;
  • Superior writing skills, strong work ethic, great communication skills, and comfort with ambiguity
  • Ability to be strategic and analytical; and
  • Case management experience.

Law Review experience preferred. Candidates must be ranked top 25% from a top law school and be in good standing with the Utah State Bar.

The role requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, a willingness to learn and a desire to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment.
