Description:
What You Need to Succeed:- Law degree/JD with mix of law firm and in-house experience preferred;
- 6+ years of experience in law practice with proven experience and /or understanding of U.S. (OFAC) economic sanctions and export control laws and regulations;
- Experience with and/or understanding of non-U.S. trade laws;
- Highly effective communicator who can translate complex laws and regulations for business personnel;
- Business-savvy problem-solver with excellent judgment who can navigate challenges;
- Team player who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
- A self-starter who can operate independently in a dynamic global environment;
- An approachable, easy going and flexible manner with a great sense of humor;
- Strong dedication to client service; and
- Willingness to work flexible hours (this role requires frequent collaboration with non-US-based team members).
