What you will be doing:
  • Collaborate with business partners at all levels, both locally and globally, to align legal strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide legal guidance on regulatory matters such as Anti-Kickback Statutes, False Claims Act, antitrust, and transparency laws.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Assess and weigh multiple factors when advising on decisions or courses of action.
  • Develop and implement company-wide or function-specific policies, processes, and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and contracting procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

What you bring:
  • JD from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Minimum 5 years of in-house legal counsel experience (top-tier law firm candidates considered) advising multinational medical device companies in areas of intellectual property, compliance, commercial contracts, antitrust, privacy, healthcare fraud and abuse, FDA regulatory, corporate, and M&A
  • Extensive experience with commercial contracts, GPOs, and IDNs agreements.
  • Expertise in healthcare fraud and abuse laws, including False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • CA bar license required.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5-15%).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of relevant commercial healthcare legal experience.
  • Experience with FDA regulations, HIPAA, and healthcare privacy laws.
  • M&A transaction and strategic partnership experience.
  • Fluency in German is a plus.
