Position Summary...
Join the An American Multinational Retail Corporation International legal team as Senior Counsel, An American Multinational Retail Corporation Sourcing. This is a generalist position advising An American Multinational Retail Corporation Sourcing organization with an emphasis on commercial contract work. This role requires a dynamic and business-oriented attorney with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The successful candidate will provide practical, strategic, frontline legal advice to An American Multinational Retail Corporation Sourcing on a wide range of matters including commercial contracts, supplier development initiatives, and corporate entity governance and formation. The Senior Counsel will report to the Lead Counsel, An American Multinational Retail Corporation Sourcing.

What you'll do...
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial agreements, including supplier, purchase and sale, SaaS, and services contracts.
  • Provide frontline, actionable legal counsel to business clients on immediate and long-term objectives, as well as supplier- and product-related legal issues.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and subject matter legal experts to identify, analyze, and manage legal risks, including those related to antitrust, privacy, IP, trade, and data security.
  • Monitor and advise on regulatory developments and industry trends impacting sourcing, supply chain, and retail operations.
  • Design and implement policies and training to reinforce legal and responsible sourcing practices.
  • Help coordinate and manage regulatory compliance and corporate governance for entities within the An American Multinational Retail Corporation Sourcing structure.
  • Review and advise on corporate communications related to Sourcing activities and events.
  • Support the Lead Counsel and other attorneys on the An American Multinational Retail Corporation International legal team with strategic initiatives.

  • Experience using AI and technology to improve performance and efficiency.
  • A service-oriented approach that builds strong teams and trusting relationships.
  • Possess a law degree from an accredited law school and 5 years' experience practicing law.
  • A license to practice law in at least one state.
