Your Impact as Senior Counsel:

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer / General Counsel, you will serve as a key member of the legal team to support primarily the commercial and EPC efforts of the company.

Your Mission:

Draft, negotiate, and analyze a broad range of commercial contracts, including EPC Agreements, LTSAs, Software Agreements, and agreements with subcontractors.
Structure, draft, review, and negotiate a variety of other/related commercial agreements.
Advise business teams regarding issues that arise during construction, including change orders, waivers, and force majeure notices, and after construction, including warranty claims, as necessary.
Provide timely and efficient commercial legal guidance on a broad range of business topics, including general corporate matters, intellectual property, commercial law, UCC, dispute resolution, commercial liability, and risk assessment.

Your Background:

JD from an accredited law school.
Member of a state bar in good standing.
4+ years' experience with EPC contract drafting and negotiations.
2+ years' experience in power generation, renewables, and/or energy storage.
Past experiences that demonstrate the ability to handle multiple legal matters successfully and efficiently in various legal areas.
Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze complex legal matters, to concisely summarize significant legal concerns, and to communicate those concerns effectively to businesspeople.
Direct experience with assessing the level of legal and business risk in developing and communicating alternatives.
