About the role:We have an exciting opportunity to support our Legal team as a Senior Counsel based in Amsterdam, Miami, FL, or Shelton, CT. The Senior Counsel, Global Contracts will act as a subject matter expert to provide legal support for structuring, reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad array of agreements, including technology and digital contracts, vendor agreements, other commercial contracts, and intercompany agreements. They will provide business teams with legal guidance on the terms of engagements, as well as assist with a variety of other corporate and transactional matters as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide legal support for structuring, reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad array of agreements.
- Provide business teams with legal guidance on the terms of the engagement.
- Assist with a variety of other corporate and transactional matters as needed.
- Research and analyze laws and regulations. Provides analysis and preparation of legal risk assessments.
Qualifications (some examples listed below):
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- 2-5 years related experience.
- Supervision of paralegals a plus.
- Technology (e.g., SaaS, cloud, managed services, software licensing, data licensing, IT outsourcing) contract experience strongly preferred.
- In-house experience a plus.
- Admission to CT Bar or Authorized In-House Counsel are required.
- Excellent contract drafting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Adept at multi-tasking and at transitioning from one task to another on short notice.
- Ability to quickly and effectively learn and implement new and modified processes.
- Ability to manage a high-volume project workload and prioritize assignments accordingly.
- Ability to effectively communicate risks and legal scenarios to clients.
- Comfortable with ambiguity.
- Able to easily shift priorities to accommodate client priorities and deadlines.
