This attorney will focus on (a) managing single plaintiff litigation in our court systems and in arbitration; (b) managing administrative matters before the DFEH, EEOC, DLSE, DOL and other employment agencies; (c) providing advice and counseling on employment law matters to large and small clients. The position involves significant client contact and the attorney in this position will be expected to work with, manage and mentor associate attorneys in these tasks. What makes this opportunity stand out? Our culture is flexible. We know practicing law is not easy, so we try to do our best to make the practice less stressful and more enjoyable for everyone. Our attorneys work as a team and collaborate both within the Sacramento office and with the attorneys at our other offices. We represent large and small clients in a wide variety of industries, so there is a variety of experiences that are available. CDF attorneys work with in-house attorneys, HR professionals, regional and division management/executives, and small business owners directly. Our associates are given the opportunity to take on significant levels of responsibility, material client interaction, and leadership roles at the firm. With approximately 50 attorneys spread throughout the state, our resources are very strong, but available without the bureaucracy, politics, and rigidness that is endemic to many large law firms.

If you have the requirements listed above and you desire significant leadership opportunities with increased flexibility on how you practice, please confidentially send your resume and an email highlighting your interest and experience (a formal cover letter is not required).
