Description:

Position Summary:
Provides legal guidance on daily operations and strategic projects to align with business goals and risk tolerance. Drafts and negotiates contracts, develops corporate policies, and manages outside counsel. Collaborates with the VP, General Counsel, and Legal team.

What You'll Do:

Provides consultation to business units on day-to-day legal issues and special projects enabling the company to achieve business objectives consistent with risk tolerance.
Develops, reviews and manages implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
Drafts, reviews and negotiates contracts and other legal documents.
Partners with VP, General Counsel and Legal Department, generally on strategic business objectives.
Manages outside counsel on corporate, employment and other matters, as well as special projects.
Develops and provides training to employees on key legal issues.
This position is an individual contributor.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents
Ability to respond to common inquiries or correspondence from regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to effectively present information to senior management
