Description:
Morgan & Morgan, P.A., is currently hiring a lawyer to serve as our Senior Attorney Director of Legal Services in our office in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 5-10 attorneys spread across a region encompassing multiple offices in various states
- Day-to-day handling of pre-litigation
- Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
- Guide clients through the case process
- Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
- Complete TD approval for liability issues
- Oversee settlement negotiations
- Manage the release approval process
- Handle Client complaint calls when escalated from a Director
- Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
- Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
- Manage and resolve client compliant escalations
- Drive compliance and KPIs for team and market
- Manage a high value caseload of automotive / motor vehicle liability cases
- Manage daily reports
Requirements
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- An active member in good standing of the bar within the jurisdiction of the office listed above
- 5+ years of personal injury experience, preferably automotive / motor vehicle liability
- Strong Management and leadership skills
- Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit and litigation cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
