Lieb at Law, P.C. is seeking a Litigation Attorney to handle complex, high-stakes cases in a collaborative boutique setting. What we do:
At Lieb at Law, no two cases are ever the same. Our senior litigators handle:
- Complex commercial litigation
- Employment law (discrimination, retaliation, wage, whistleblower)
- Regulatory defense and licensed industry matters
- Housing and education discrimination
- Real estate brokerage disputes
- Antitrust and unfair competition
- Appeals in state and federal courts
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of litigation experience, with proven success across complex and varied matters
- Admitted in New York (NJ and/or CT a plus)
- Strong record of wins in motion practice and courtroom advocacy
- Exceptional legal writing, reasoning, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to set litigation strategy independently on nuanced, high-stakes cases
- Direct experience with nuanced litigation
- Minimum of 1800 hours annually
- Must be willing to work full-time, in office, at our Smithtown, NY headquarters
- Highly organized, detail-obsessed, and a proactive communicator who never lets an issue linger
- Comfortable using technology and AI tools in legal research, drafting, and case management — we don't just use AI, we teach CLEs on it
